Printed Textiles: An introduction
HND Printmaking
This project was named printed textiles, I created this sketchbook full of artwork in block two of my HND course. Within this topic I had some friends model for me to photograph them to use for prints. My theme was Makeup Culture. I am very interested in make up in general, so this was a great topic for me to use. Within this project, I used three techniques, Screen printing, Lino and Collagraph prints. I used different materials in the project such as t-shirts, paper, film, tissue, cloth, marble and some more. This was one of my favourite books I've ever worked on. I was given a lot of great feedback from my lecturer within this class. Which gives me more initiative to create more of this type of work as I go on in my printmaking career.
